WordCamp Europe is the largest event in Europe (and in the world by attendance) for the WordPress scene, hosted every year in a different country. This time we found ourselves in the beautiful city of Kraków, former capital and one of the oldest cities in Poland.
What Are WordCamps About?
WordCamps are community-driven events with backing by the WordPress Foundation held in different countries for the WordPress scene, focusing on giving back to the platform and networking.
I like to use the following statement when telling people about these events: “nobody’s asking for your credentials” – meaning that one can be a beginner or a seasoned developer. The scale is limitless, everyone is welcome!

WordCamp Europe starts with Contributor Day, a day designated for giving back to the community. There’s a very wide scope of things one can do: translating WordPress to other languages, providing support, writing documentation, making bug fixes to code and much more. It’s also a very suitable setting to meet new people in the community and network. This year, Seravo contributed in the Support team.
After we’ve contributed to the WordPress project, there are two additional conference days with interesting talks, and obviously plenty of chances for networking and promoting one’s own expertise. At least for us, it’s also a tradition to do a “swag-run” and get a chance to meet and chat with other sponsors. After all, we are there for the same cause: ensuring that the WordPress ecosystem thrives.
Seravo Sponsors WordCamp Europe

For us at Seravo, it means a lot to us to be visible in the WordPress community. Sponsoring these events is one way to give back to the community and the open-source software we all utilize in making things happen. We’re very keen about the platform and how it’s suitable for both beginners as well as advanced users and all kinds of business needs, from individuals and startups all the way up to the enterprise level.

This year, we attended WordCamp Europe with a 10-person crew bringing a wide variety of expertise and backgrounds. Our management, developer, support, partner sales, and WordPress teams were represented in the roster. We were also accompanied by the tech and support heads from our sibling company, CloudAccess, as well as a marketing specialist from Miss Group—the umbrella company we both proudly belong to. Thank you for taking part in this journey!
We had many great talks with attendees at our booth, and people got to continue their journey with a pair of Seravo socks and a sleeping mask.
Seravo 🤝 WooCommerce

Something very important to us and to be proud of – we got to launch our collaboration with Automattic right before the event. This means that Seravo is officially a recommended hosting solution for WooCommerce. We got to meet and chat with people from their side, and even got some coffee beans to take home with! I’m sure the coffee drinkers at our office appreciate this souvenir.
You can read more about the collaboration in our previous blog post.
